Mia is a lawyer with experience in dealing with strata and building & construction disputes. She graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Financial Economics. Whilst studying at university, Mia worked in strata management at national strata management companies.
Mia has acted on behalf of and assisted in representing owners corporations and lot owners in NCAT, ACAT, and the ACT Supreme Court. She has also advised on various complex issues relating to owners corporation’s duty to repair and maintain common property, breach of by-laws, nuisances, the appointment of an administrator/compulsory strata managing agent, fire safety and defective building works.
As a result of her experience, Mia is aware of her clients’ needs and aims to provide commercially effective and long-lasting solutions.
