Positive change

At Construction Legal, we recognise the importance of targeted support and assistance and we are proud to provide legal and financial support to NGOs throughout the community. We work closely with our community partners on alleviating the cycle of disadvantage, food aid, sustainability, and reconciliation. By recognising that our partners are the experts, we can provide integrated assistance that matches the specific needs of each individual and community. We understand that change does not occur overnight, which is why our partnerships are driven by our goal of facilitating both positive, and ongoing change and support to those around us.

Food for Families in Need

Reaching is an Australian charity organisation that provides food and other essentials to families in need. Construction Legal is proud to provide Reaching with free legal advice and to support the organisation in all of its endeavours.

“Jessica and the team at Construction Legal have provided Reaching not only professional and timely legal advice, they have been charitable and compassionate throughout our long-standing relationship.

Their legal counsel has been superior to any other practice we have used in the past and their strong support of our charitable activities has enabled us to move forward in serving the less fortunate and struggling members of the Australian community

I cannot recommend Construction Legal enough and happy to provide any further evidence of their credibility, professionalism and understanding.”

Literacy for Life in our Aboriginal Communities

We are proud to support the Literacy for Life Foundation, an Aboriginal-run charity training Aboriginal people to bring literacy to their communities. Using an innovative, evidence-based, campaign approach, Literacy for Life has helped millions around the world and is now delivering results in Australia. Lifting adult literacy levels in Aboriginal communities has the potential to be THE game-changer in tackling Indigenous disadvantage. Watch In My Own Words about the work of the the Foundation.

Relief of poverty, hardship and distress

The Antiochian Welfare Association (AWA) was officially established in October 2020 under the guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios. His goal was to establish an association for the relief of poverty, hardship, distress, helplessness and alienation amongst Australian citizens and residents suffering from these disadvantages in NSW.

“The Antiochian Welfare Association  is thankful to Construction Legal for sponsoring an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid course for 15 participants on 20 March 2021. As accredited Mental Health First Aiders, the participants will have the skills and confidence to have supportive conversations and provide help to youth members of the community until appropriate professional help is received or until the mental health crisis is resolved.”
