Emilee Clark


Emilee is a litigation lawyer with a particular focus on commercial, property and construction law.

Emilee has unparalleled litigation experience commensurate with her experience level and particular expertise in large and complex litigation. Emilee is has carriage of several litigation matters in the Supreme Court, District Court and Local Court of New South Wales. She has also acted on matters interstate. She is responsible for meeting each clients’ specific needs with respect to pre-litigation and litigation matters and importantly, implementation of an overall legal strategy.  

Having undertaken the Resolution Institute’s (previously Leadr) Dispute Resolution Course in Mediation, Emilee placed 4th at the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Competition in the Asia-Pacific Region in 2017.

Emilee relocated to Sydney in early 2019. Prior to joining Construction Legal, Emilee assisted on complex litigation cases, worked as a law clerk in a specialist property law firm, and was responsible for organising a national conference for the New Zealand Law Students’ Association.

She has worked in compliance for a boutique investment company across Australia and New Zealand which is where her interest in the law was first developed, prior to her returning to university to undertake a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business. In earlier years, Emilee trained as a Professional Chef (she also holds a Diploma in Culinary Arts) which she utilised when she lived in and travelled around Europe for two years.
